Tuesday the 3rd I started the early afternoon at Blyth estuary you can drive down between the factories to near the waters edge and with a scope good views can be obtained for a large area, present were about 25 Goldeneye , a few Teal , Shellduck, about c100 Curlew in the field opposite along with about 80+ Fieldfare, all the usual waders including Bar Tailed Godwits, spent about an hour , then headed to St Marys , no sign of the Brents today the tide well out , Water pipit still present as was Grey Wagtail and as usual plenty Golden Plover on the rocks , the wetland had plenty of water in and even the stream running onto the beach had a good flow, all in all a quiet day. Curlew in the field next to the road this seems to be getting wetter would make a good pool

Grey Wagtail in it's usual haunt
