Dandelions the plague of gardeners and green keepers, but are they not just a fantastic bit of kit to disperse seeds, very effective they are too!!!!!

Fabulous photos! Your mystery bird looks like a House Martin taking a bath....or collecting mud in a pool that turned out deeper (and wetter!) than it originally thought!

Although it appears to have white wing tips, unless they're a trick of the light?
Well you are both right, don't remember this exact shot I think it must have plunged straight in, but I bet I had you fooled for at least a few seconds.
